History

The Foundation was incorporated in 1989 as a charitable arm of the Rotary Club of Santa Rosa – the oldest and largest Rotary Club in Sonoma County.  For over 30 years the Foundation has funded charitable organizations with community grants and local college students with education scholarships. Initially donations came solely from Rotary members and then expanded to include funding from community patrons and businesses. In 2005 the corpus assets had grown to half a million dollars and today amount to almost two million dollars.
